Mark Clayton is a retired professional American football wide receiver. He was born on April 8, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and started playing football in high school. Clayton went on to play for the University of Louisville, where he set various school records. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft and played with them for ten seasons.

Clayton was a highly successful player, setting several records for the Dolphins, including the single-season touchdown reception record. During his impressive career, Clayton was named a Pro Bowler five times and was a member of the NFL All-Decade Team of the 1980s. He retired in 1994 after playing for the Green Bay Packers for one season.

In addition to his successful football career, Clayton has also worked as a sports broadcaster and analyst. He is known for his work on ESPN, Fox Sports, and SiriusXM NFL Radio. Clayton also co-hosts the "Inside the Huddle with Juice" podcast.
